Meet the Instructor
Ivan Fong, CEO, Finbiz Consultancy
Ivan comes with almost 16 years of solid
in-depth knowledge and experiences in the accounting, finance, tax, treasury,
management, digitalisation transformation and corporate governance field. He is
a Chartered Accountant from Malaysian Institute of Accountant and a member of
the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK).
Ivan has performed the audit practices by
involved in various business industry, both large corporation companies and
Small-Medium sizes of companies. He has overseen financial statements and led
strategic initiatives across multiple industries.
In his previous role as Chief Finance
Officer, Ivan achieved notable successes including turning around negative cash
flows and restructuring debt. He played pivotal roles in finance functions,
spearheaded growth strategies, and served as a risk manager and director in
subsidiary companies.
Transitioning from his CFO role at Censof
Holdings Berhad,
Ivan founded FinBiz
Consultancy Sdn Bhd in
August 2020, aiming to cultivate young finance professionals and provide
specialized services to niche-based clients. Under his leadership, His
consultancy has facilitated successful financial modeling and fundraising campaigns for various
ventures.
