Every business is all about people. You may have big dreams, aspirations, a goal in mind, an idea on how to get there with a strong resolve to achieve it, and yet, one person can never do it all alone. You still will need to build a team behind you to support you all the way.
In this panel discussion, we will be interviewing startup founders recalling their formative days in the business when they were out looking for suitable and capable people to work in their team and how did they go about identifying the right people and building a good working relationship with them.

Dr. Suraya Abdul Rashid, CEng MIChemE | Chief Scientist
Dr. Suraya Abdul Rashid is a Professor at the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Nottingham University, United Kingdom in 2000. She then obtained her PhD in chemical engineering focusing on nanotechnology from Imperial College London, United Kingdom in 2004. She is a chartered engineer under the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and a nanotechnologist under the Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT). She currently serves as the Deputy Director of Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2), UPM.

Dr. Raihan Musa, Exploria TV
Dr. Raihan is a dedicated founder and CEO of Exploria TV, the first company in Southeast Asia to offer comprehensive STEAM and TVET platforms for schools and communities. She is deeply passionate about revolutionizing education platforms for children. Renowned for her commitment to developing sustainable and impactful educational ecosystems, she has spearheaded numerous projects including EXPLORIA, Pintar@Beserah, #TuisyenMedina, and the Science Hero Project.
Dr Raihan is also the Chairman of Badan Amal Pendidikan Pahang, where she leads initiatives aimed at providing underprivileged students with essential support—financial aid, counseling, and career guidance—enabling them to excel academically and beyond.
